As most native Southern Californians, Thor was exposed to an array of religions and cultures from a very young age. He quickly learned that though we may all look, speak, eat, and pray differently, we are all fundamentally the same. We all strive to succeed in the realms of love, security, and personal gain. But being the observant libran child he was, he realised that people went about it in very different ways. Some pushed forward with a sense of entitlement, while others trailed behind making do with what was left over. "Why?" he asked. "How is it that we are all so similar, yet so different?" The answer would come many years later in the form of circle. The circle of life. Dabbling in metaphysics in his teens he took an interest in western astrology, mostly to improve his social skills and better his chances in finding a suitable life partner. He would not take on the challenge of casting natal charts until he was well into his twenties after a psychic reading by a benevolent Pisces would altar the course of his own personal history forever. Gathering the date, time, and location of his birth she presented him with his own personal geocentric natal map of the planets, which included the moon, Chiron, and the lunar nodes. Blown away by the accuracy of her interpretation and overwhelmed with relief that he had found in essence the secret to understanding the intricacies of the human personality complex, he wasted no time in learning how to do this for his friends and family, learning slowly but surely why we are so similar, yet so different.
