What: Astrology For Absolute Beginners

In this class, you will learn about the sun and the planets in your chart as each week Grace takes you through a different planet or the sun. This is a LIMITED TIME free class that runs from now through the end of April, so be sure to get all of the different classes in by starting now. The sooner you start, the more you'll learn.

About Grace:

Grace began her formal spiritual studies in 1972 with the Church of Light, after working her way through a Tarot deck and book. Learning Astrology, Tarot, Psychic Development, Healing, Qabalah, Sanskrit, the Hindu Scriptures, Meditation, Palmistry, Religion, Theosophy, Channeling, Past Life Readings, Numerology, Yoga and Runes, she also studied with Builders of the Adytum, the East West Cultural Center of Los Angeles, Dr. Marta Spelman, Society for American Occultism, and Austrian Rune Healer Roland Herbst, amongst others. She has been a popular teacher since the early 70's.

A member of the National Council for Geocosmic Research, and a professional member of the American Federation of Astrologers, Grace as been working her way through their accreditation programs -- "Should have done this 30 years ago!". She is also a mentor in the American Tarot Association.

She joined the Jung Club of Orange County and signed up for their Centerpoint study group to gain greater familiarity with Carl Jung's concepts of the archetypes and their images, as Classical Mythology, Archeology, and World Religions and Folklore have been areas of interest since childhood. She has been a teacher and featured presenter at the Learning Light Foundation in Anaheim, a featured speaker at the Long Beach Joseph Campbell Mythological Round Table and at the North Orange County Tarot Society. She is active in both the Orange County Local Council of the Covenant of the Goddess and the Universal Spiritual Church, in both of which churches she holds Ministerial Credentials.

Description: This is an ongoing weekly event. Fusing meditation and astrology to heal your past and clear the way for the future!

Every week Thor will help you to experience a unique mixture of astrology and hypnotherapy in the form of guided meditations designed to remove blockages in your heart and mind that may be preventing or disrupting your sacred flow of positive energy. Each class will include an in-depth discussion about the zodiac, the planets, the house system, or universal archetypes/personality traits that nearly anybody can relate to or identify in themselves and others. These discussions will always lead us to a place of reflection and healing. Come any or every Monday night for a fun and enlightening journey into your own subconscious mind!

What: Crystals 101 (Three week course)
Where: The Healing Shoppe main classroom
When: Saturdays, Feb 11, 18, & 25th
Cost: $10/person each week  Attend one or all

Description: This three part workshop contains everything the very beginner will need to know to start working with crystals.

Part I (2/11/2012) This workshop will go over the very basics of how to choose the right crystal for you. We will also cover how to cleanse, charge and program your crystals.

Part II (2/18/2012) Is your crystal a Record Keeper, a Transmitter or a Double Terminated? Come to this workshop to find the answer and just exactly how such formations effect the energy of your crystal.

Part III (2/25/2012) In this workshop, we will explain how to use crystals in layouts and grids to bring certain energies such as abundance, love and joy forward into your daily life.
